Mr Krishnamurthy is an experienced chemical engineer and executive who has much of his career in international business units supporting operations in Angola, Canada, Kazakhstan and Thailand.
He joined Chevron in 2003 as a process engineer and has held a number of notable roles during his time with the company, including vice president of strategy and sustainability and vice president of Chevron Technical Center.
In 2025, Mr Krishnamurthy was appointed Chevron president for Australia.
Mr Krishnamurthy earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and electrochemical engineering from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute in India, a master’s degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Florida, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
