Since completing a 28-year career in the Australian Army in 2011, Ash Colmer has provided management consultancy and advisory solutions for clients within the private and public sectors.
From January 2016 to August 2023, Mr Colmer partnered with Atturra Advisory and Consulting (then Noetic Solutions) in Canberra as an associate principal consultant where he led and oversaw over 30 projects for major clients including the Department of Defence; Department of Home Affairs and the Australian Border Force; the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry; the Australian Antarctic Division; the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority; Red Meat Australia; and Cattle Council Australia. He then relocated to Perth and is responsible for accelerating Atturra's consultancy services capability with Western Australia state and local government departments and agencies, as well as in critical industries including mining, utilities and infrastructure. This includes supporting enterprises with expert advisory services to sustainably enhance their planning for the next phase of their development.
Mr Colmer holds a Masters in Management, a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Military History), PRINCE2 and CERT IV in Training, and an NV1 security clearance.
