He joined SCA Property Group in November 2012 and acted as interim chief executive before being formally appointed chief executive in May 2013.

Prior to SCA Property Group, Mr Mellowes spent over 10 years with Woolworths where he held a number of senior property related roles including as head of asset management and group property operations manager. He was a key member of the Woolworths team which created SCA Property Group. Mr Mellowes had also worked for LendLease Group and Westfield.
