Anthony De Ceglie

Anthony De Ceglie was appointed inaugural chief executive of the Perth Bears, a startup NRL franchise in May 2025. Prior to his appointment he had been a long-running media executive, working largely in the newspaper publishing side of the sector. After more than a decade at News Corporation mastheads, including a stint as deputing editor at WA's The Sunday Times and PerthNow, Mr De Ceglie joined Seven West Media in 2019 to become editor of daily newspaper The West Australian. In 2024 he relocated to Sydney to head news and current affairs at Channel Seven, also part of Seven West Media.
