Andrew Plympton AM spent over 35 years in the finance services area, as managing director and/or executive chair of several insurance brokers and risk managers. He was also chair in Underwriting Agencies and Captive Insurance Managers, and a non-executive director/chair of 9 ASX-listed companies for over twenty years.
Mr Plympton has experience in sport and administration of the sector. He was a member of The Australian Olympic Committee, president of AFL club St Kilda for 8 years, and director of The Australian Sports Commission (including The Australian Institute of Sport).
In 2018, Mr Plympton was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to sports administration through governance roles, particularly to sailing and Australian rules football.
