Andrew Bird has financial, operational and strategic experience acquired from a 30-year executive career in consulting, strategy, digital and investment roles primarily in Australia.
Following the earlier part of his career in management consulting with Booz, Allen and Hamilton, he joined CCH, a multinational listed publishing company and ran one of their business units in Australia. In 1997, Mr Bird co-founded Aspect Huntley which was subsequently acquired by Morningstar in 2006 and he became chief executive for Australia and New Zealand. In 2010, Mr Bird established his own family investment firm with a focus on private equity and early stage investments in technology and information businesses.
Mr Bird also holds a number of directorships including as chair of Sharesight - an online investment admin platform for self-directed investors, director of LegalVision - an innovative online law firm, and director of Allette Systems - a developer of web-based enterprise content management software.
