Alan Watson was a London-based investment banker with 30 years of experience within various global equity markets. Over this period, he has established, directed and been responsible for the conduct of securities businesses both in Europe and Asia, working for Barclays de Zoete Wedd, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation and Lehman Brothers Holdings. He was head of securities, Europe for Macquarie Capital (Europe) in January 2008. Prior to that appointment, Mr Watson was the joint head of equities at Landsbanki Securities (UK) and head of Asian sales at Lehman Brothers Asia. Mr Watson is the non-executive chair of Elixir Petroleum, an ASX listed international oil and gas exploration and production company, and an independent director of TSX listed manufacturing company, AirBoss of America Corp.
