
Alan David Rule is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with over 25 years of extensive corporate experience in the mining sector, in both the Australian and international markets, with companies listed on the ASX, AIM and TSX exchanges. He has a broad range of experience in the listing and corporate governance requirements in various markets, as well as financing and M&A initiatives from the numerous strategic transactions that he has been involved in over the years.
Mr Rule has worked in audit and corporate finance for 12 years before moving into the mining sector in 1996 as chief financial officer of Western Metals. He spent two years with St Barbara Mines prior to becoming chief financial officer of Mount Gibson Iron in 2005. He was also chief financial officer of Paladin Energy, Summit Resources and Sundance Resources.
