VML is a global creative agency that was formed by the 2024 merger of Wunderman Thompson and VMLY&R.

Prior to the VML merger, Wunderman Thompson was formed by the merger between Wunderman (WPP) and J Walter Thompson in November 2018. On July 31st 2020 WPP AUNZ acquired Perth agency Meerkats, and merged with Wunderman Thompson locally.
