Accounting firm UHY Haines Norton will have three offices in Western Australia following a merger with national outfit Sothertons, while Moore Stephens Perth - which absorbed the old UHY practice in WA in 2015 - has announced changes to its leadership team.

Four months after accounting firms Moore Stephens and UHY Haines Norton merged, the combined group has settled on Exchange Tower as its new home.

Moore Stephens will become the 11th largest accounting firm in Western Australia after striking a merger agreement with the Perth office of UHY Haines Norton.

Wen-Shien Chai and Peter Gorecki have been appointed as partners at UHY Haines Norton Perth.Mr Chai practises in audit, while Mr Gorecki works in the business advisory division.
