Tianqi Lithium is a subsidiary of Chinese-based group Chengdu Tianqi (Group) Co, a private joint-stock company whose headquarters, administration, sales, R & D and financial management centres are located in Chengdu, with branches and bases of production or resources in Shuangliu, Shehong, Ya'an, Montreal and Amsterdam. Chengdu Tianqi is now quickly becoming an international leading company in new energy, new material and milking machinery manufacturing.
Tianqi is currently specialised in lithium industry, mining industry and agriculture machinery. Its subsidiaries include Sichuan Tianqi Lithium Industry Inc, the world's largest lithium chemicals producer from spodumene, including through its 51 per cent joint venture with Rockwood Lithium (49%) in Greenbushes miner Talison Lithium in Western Australia, and Chengdu Daocheng Agriculture and Farming Machinery Co Ltd, the only one listed in the subsidy directory of the Ministry of Agriculture in Southwest China.
Tianqi Group's other subsidiaries also include professional domestic and foreign trading companies that have established channels and networks in the raw material markets, both within China and internationally, as well as a great number of loyal clients and partners.
