Silk joins Logistics Park
Warehousing and logistics business Silk Contract has taken up a four-hectare lot at the Roe Highway Logistics Park, with plans to construct a 21,000 square metre warehouse.
Tattarang is the private investment group of Andrew Forrest and Nicola Forrest. Tattarang holds the pair’s shareholding in Fortescue Metals Group as well as investments across a wide variety of sectors and asset classes including in real assets, public and private markets.
Some of Tattarang's wholly-owned portfolio companies include Australia’s largest renewable energy owner, developer and operator Squadron Energy, iconic Australian boot-maker and apparel company RM Williams, battery metals company Wyloo Metals, agri-food venture Harvest Road Group, property developer and operator Fiveight, and Perth-based rugby club the Western Force.
Tattarang is also the largest shareholder of shipbuilder Austal, and has minority stakes in Bega Cheese and Australia’s oldest company Australian Agricultural Company.
