New era for Murdoch
A Perth secondary school will cut its tuition fees by up to 30 per cent when it moves to the CBD.
St George's Anglican Grammar School is a secondary school based in the Perth CBD. The school is a member of the Anglican Schools Commission system of schooling in Western Australia. It commenced operations in term 3 of 2015. The school caters for students in Years 7-12.
An earlier iteration of the school was started in 2011 as Murdoch College a non-denominational institution based on the grounds of Murdoch University which planned to use it as a feeder facility. In 2015 the entity joined the Anglican Schools Commission and relocated to a refurbished six-storey office building at 50 William Street, changing its name in the process.
