Pilbara Institute

The former company Pilbara Institute was the largest training provider in WA with the largest number of apprentices and trainees in the region. It provided access to accredited education and training solutions including apprenticeships, traineeships, nationally recognised qualifications, short courses, and industry specific accreditation and customised training programs for individuals, employers, business and industry. In April 2016, the state government restructured the TAFE system, amalgamating the 11 TAFE colleges into 5 TAFE Colleges. As a result of the re-alignment Pilbara Institute now falls under the umbrella of the North Regional TAFE.
