The quiet skies above Australia in 2020 required all aviation operators to respond – and respond rapidly.
Perth-based National Jet Express is a charter airline with operations across Australia. Founded in 1994, it employs 450 people, with its headquarters in Perth along with crew and engineering bases in Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast Cairns and Tabubil (PNG).
Its core business is fly-in, fly-out charter services for mining clients in WA, SA and Queensland. It also provides freight services on the east coast and charter services in Papua New Guinea.

The quiet skies above Australia in 2020 required all aviation operators to respond – and respond rapidly.
For a quarter of a century, Cobham has provided charter services to diverse mining companies, from the iron orerich veins of the Pilbara, the gas fields of Barrow Island, to the gold-flecked rocks around Kalgoorlie, Leonora and surrounds.
To meet increasing FIFO demand in the resource-rich regions of the Pilbara, Gascoyne and Goldfields, five new aircraft have joined the Cobham fleet, designed to specifically service the FIFO and charter industry in WA. A further eight aircraft are due to arrive in 2022.
