A defamation action lodged in the state's highest court has added to the ongoing dispute between Aerison Group and rival engineering firm Innovent.

Aerison has secured a win over a subpoena in its legal dispute with rival engineering firm Innovent, which includes allegations on contracts with Fortescue, Fluor and Talison.

The former project manager now works at rival Perth engineering firm Innovent, which Aerison has accused of corporate espionage.
