GRD Ltd is a Perth-based company joining three companies Global Renewables, GRD Minproc, and Kirfeild. GRD Limited was removed from the official list of the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on 4 December 2009. This follows the completion of a Scheme of Arrangement whereby AMEC plc acquired all the shares in GRD Limited. Two years prior, GRD founder Brettney Fogarty pocketed $120 million from the sale of his 30 per cent stake, with the Seven Network and Macquarie Bank buying about 10 per cent each.
