Automotive Holdings Group has won regulatory approval for the sale of its Covs Parts business after agreeing to retain four regional stores, and has also expanded its east coast operations through another acquisition in Melbourne.
The competition watchdog has raised concerns regarding Automotive Holdings Group's $43 million sale of its Covs Parts business to GPC Asia Pacific, which already operates the Repco chain.
Automotive Holdings Group has entered discussions for a $77.5 million sale and lease-back of an existing dealership and two development properties on the east coast, the second deal of this type in three years.
