Critical Resources (formerly Force Commodities and formerly Sovereign Gold) is a Perth-based, NSW-focused resources company. Previously Sydney-based, the company moved its head office to Perth in August 2016, while under the leadership of former Applabs directors Rocco Tassone, Charles Thomas, and Patrick Glovac.
In November 2016, the then Sovereign Gold announced plans to spin out its US lithium assets into Marquee Resources through an IPO.
The shareholders voted to change the company's name from Sovereign Gold to Force Commodities in December 2016, and from Force Commodities to Critical Resources in June 2021.
