$600m Merredin wind farm approved
The Merredin Shire Council has today approved the development of a $600 million wind farm that will generate enough electricity to power 160,000 homes.
Collgar Renewables owns Collgar wind farm, the largest wind farm in Western Australia.
Established in 2009 and originally known as Collgar Wind Farm, it rebranded to Collgar Renewables in November 2022 with plans to broaden its portfolio and find additional renewable energy projects to develop in Western Australia.
Collgar Renewables is wholly-owned by the Retail Employees Superannuation Trust, a superannuation fund in Australia.
