Altona Mining engaged in the exploration, evaluation, and development of base metal mining projects in Finland and Australia. Its primary projects included the 100% ownership interest in the Outokumpu project comprising copper, gold, nickel, zinc, and cobalt deposits located in the north east of Helsinki, Finland; and the Roseby copper project located in north east of Mt Isa in Queensland, Australia. Altona Mining Limited was formerly known as Universal Resources Limited. Altona Mining was acquired by Canadian company Copper Mountain Mining in April 2018.
