Alf the Label was founded by Sophie Doyle in October 2016. It started with a design for affordable high quality nappy bags but now has a range of backpacks and tote bags.
In 2019, Alf the Label was a finalist for Startup Business of the Year at the MyBusiness Awards. In 2020, Alf the Label won gold in the Best Changing Bag Design category at the UK Junior Design Awards for its Ari 4-way convertible backpack.
