AWE Limited and its subsidiary (AWE Perth Pty Ltd formerly known as Arc Energy Limited) operates in the northern Perth Basin, successfully developing a number of commercial oil and gas fields. The most notable of these was the Waitsia gas field. In 2018, AWE was acquired by Mitsui.
