Conico Limited has revealed more shallow high-grade nickel-cobalt-manganese-scandium results from its Mt Thirsty JV near Norseman. Results include 29m grading 0.09 per cent cobalt, 0.62 per cent nickel, 0.73 per cent manganese and 33.2g/t scandium from surface. The resource is 66.2 million tonnes grading 0.06 per cent cobalt, 0.43 per cent nickel and 0.45 per cent manganese, with the project’s scoping study due in July.

DiscovEx Resources’ JV partner, Carnaby Resources, has added more high-grade copper hits to its highlight reel at the duo’s Burke and Wills copper-gold prospect near Mt Isa in Queensland. Headline results from a recent 10-hole campaign include 8m going 2 per cent copper and 0.5 grams per tonne gold from 130m, containing 3m grading 5.2 per cent copper and 1.3g/t gold from 130m.

Aruma Resources has unearthed a new “Rose” prospect, not far from its Thistle target, following a reverse-circulation drill campaign at its Salmon Gums gold project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields region. The Rose target was highlighted on the back of positive results that include 1m at 2.3 grams per tonne gold from 27m. The new discovery sits between the company’s Thistle and Iris prospects.

ASX-listed Emu NL has confirmed “outstanding” rare earths at its Graceland project near Lake Grace after its maiden drill campaign at the site returned results of up to 960 parts per million TREO. It completed an eight-hole RC drill campaign at the operation in January, with highlights showing a 32m intercept at 716.75ppm TREO from 32m, including 4m grading an impressive 960.66ppm TREO from 32m.

Askari Metals has expanded the footprint of its Uis lithium project in Namibia after completing the acquisition of the remaining 10 per cent of tenement EPL 7345, which covers about 114 square kilometres. The company took its full ownership after picking up the remaining 10 per cent stake in the private company which had owned the ground.

CZR Resources has inked an option agreement to acquire a granted exploration tenement just 70km south of the Port of Ashburton as it ponders a potential stockyard and haulage depot to service iron ore exports. Apart from its potential as an infrastructure hub, management says its new tenement also hosts the Mt Minnie project, which is prospective for copper-gold mineralisation.

Toro Energy’s latest diamond drilling campaign has extended its Dimma nickel discovery in WA’s Goldfields, with 2m of continuous massive nickel sulphide intersected from 147.2m. Management says its new results stretch the mineralisation at the deposit to 160m and that portable XRF analysis suggests nickel grades of between 1.5 and 3.4 per cent. The discovery remains open along strike in both directions and at depth.

A maiden RC drilling program at BMG Resources’ Bullabulling project in WA’s East Yilgarn lithium corridor has tapped into an intriguing swarm of potentially lithium-rich pegmatites. The junior explorer’s shares spiked nearly 85 per cent to 2.4 cents today on the back of the encouraging discovery. BMG has until next month to make the final decision to acquire full ownership of the prospective tenure.

Joint venture partners Octava Minerals and Future Metals NL have launched a drill hunt for platinum group metals and nickel at their Panton North project in Western Australia’s Kimberley region, chasing an extension of the neighbouring 5-million-ounce Panton platinum group metals deposit. Management says its more than 2000m campaign will target areas which attracted interest in previous fieldwork.

TSX-listed Novo Resources hopes its latest AC drilling results, which show a likeness to early work at De Grey Mining’s ’s lucrative Hemi gold operation, will prove a significant step for the company in the Pilbara. Drill highlights include a 3m hit at 5.23 grams per tonne gold from just 9m and another 3m intercept going 2.93g/t gold, also from 9m.

Lindian Resources says the second phase of its depth-extension drill program at its promising Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi is on track – and it has whetted the appetite of investors by flagging the return next week of more assay results from its phase-one work. The critical minerals company expects to release a maiden mineral resource estimate by the end of next month.

Godolphin Resources is planning a drilling program to follow up fieldwork at its Yeoval East prospect and further expand its resource footprint in NSW’s rich Lachlan Fold Belt. Soil and rock-chip program results identified a 150ppm copper zone about 600m long and 200m wide. Copper results ran up to 0.14 per cent from soil samples and 0.28 per cent copper from rock chips.

Kalgoorlie Gold Mining (KalGold) has wrapped up a deal to secure a valuable 22km-long swathe of the Laverton tectonic zone, north of Ramelius Resources’ 1.1-million-ounce Rebecca gold project in WA’s Eastern Goldfields. The company appears to have hit early paydirt, stumping up visible gold in one of the first three RC holes probing its Kirgella Gift prospect.

Estrella Resources has identified a slew of fresh targets at its Carr Boyd nickel project near Kalgoorlie following a review of data from its partnership with the CSIRO and results from a recent seismic survey. The company says it has highlighted 30 targets, including 15 with known nickel-copper-platinum group element intersections and another 15 hosting the right geology, but which are yet to be tested.

Aurumin is primed for another stint on the rig at its Sandstone gold project, 520km north-east of Perth. A 5000m campaign will chase targets from geochemical and structural work at the project and is expected to launch early next month, with management saying the 44 holes of exploratory work will cover nine open-pit targets that all sit within a 3km radius of its processing plant.

American West Metals has continued its unbroken run of hitting thick copper intervals at its Storm project in Canada, with its latest batch of eight holes all showing strong visual sulphides from reverse-circulation (RC) drilling. Management says assays received from its resource definition program include 15.2m at 1.2 per cent copper containing 4.6m going 2.8 per cent copper from 54.9m.

Xanadu Mines has begun an aggressive 18,000m discovery exploration drilling campaign at its Kharmagtai copper-gold project in Mongolia, with results set to be incorporated into an ongoing prefeasibility study. The program includes two additional diamond drill rigs, with one set to cover 8000m of deep exploration targeting high-grade and large-scale mineralisation at depth. A further 6000m is planned, depending on results.

Galan Lithium has filled its coffers to the tune of $31.5 million from an institutional placement priced at $1.05 per share to help drive development at its Hombre Muerto West lithium brine project in Argentina. It says the funds will be used to purchase long lead items for its proposed lithium carbonate pilot plant and the stage-two definitive feasibility study at the project.

PolarX has kicked off a series of induced polarisation surveys across its Humboldt Range operation in Nevada as it follows up gold and silver anomalies from its earlier soil-sampling programs. WA-based minerals explorer Terrain Minerals has uncovered a 600m-long induced polarisation anomaly at its Smokebush gold-lithium project in WA’s Mid West. The company had already planned to start an RC campaign to search for gold and lithium at the project next month, but reviews of historic drilling has presented new targets – including the newly-discovered anomaly.

Aurum Resources is edging towards exploration on its Ryans Find gold project north-east of Southern Cross after completing a two-day on-site heritage clearance survey alongside the land’s traditional owners – the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Claimant Group. Management says drilling at its deposit will be scheduled once a report from the heritage consultants, Fremantle-based Terra Rosa, has been reviewed.

Lindian Resources has inked a supply deal with a new partner flush with cash. The company has revealed a six-year agreement with C&D Logistics, which will see it supply 23 million wet metric tonnes of bauxite from its Gaoual project in Guinea. Kicking off in 2025, the supply agreement requires annual negotiation on price, quantity, product quality, payment terms and delivery details.

Diversified metals explorer Venture Minerals has wasted no time in kick-starting its new JV project in Western Australia’s Mid West region, signing a contract with drillers for a maiden drill program to test the extent of the clay-hosted rare earths mineralisation at its Iron Duke deposit. The program will complement a drill program organised for another recent rare earths acquisition, Brothers.

Northern Minerals has been awarded $5.9 million as part of the Australian Government’s Critical Minerals Development Program. Management says the funding will go towards key work programs at its Browns Range rare earths project in Western Australia’s East Kimberley region, including resource definition drilling at its Wolverine deposit, advanced front-end engineering and design and early work activities.

Reach Resources says it has confirmed high-grade copper-oxide mineralisation at its Morrissey Hill project in Western Australia’s Gascoyne region after gleaning results of up to 33.2 per cent copper from recent rock-chip sampling. The impressive results were from the company’s Swallowtail prospect from an outcropping quartz‐veined gossan that shows visible malachite through a strike length of about 150m.

White Cliff Minerals has acquired the Mineral Fields, Soak Sands and Border Exploration companies in a deal that brings 12 projects prospective for rare earths and iron-oxide-copper-gold deposits into its fold. The projects cover 2562sq km in Western Australia – from Jerramungup to Wanna Lakes near the South Australian border and up to the Three Rivers-Ashton Hills projects east of Carnarvon and south of Newman.

It is reporting high-grade zinc mineralisation hits, with a headline figure of 4.3m going 27 per cent. Unsurprisingly, a follow-up drill program is planned.

Octava Minerals has started drilling at its Pinnacle Well prospect in an area in Western Australia’s Pilbara region known as “lithium elephant country”. Drilling at the prospect, 10km north of the Archer deposit that has resources of 18 million tonnes at 1.0 per cent lithium oxide, will test a significant lithium anomaly, including a 1.5km pegmatite showing visible lithium mineralisation.

Auric Mining has officially begun production at its Jeffreys Find project after receiving the green light from the Department of Mining, Industry Regulation and Safety, with its first gold pour expected in July. It started work immediately after getting approval for its full open-pit mine at its project near Norseman. The drill and blast of the first 5m bench is already completed.
