Legal appointments

Brian Simons has been appointed head of sales at AssetOwl. Mr  Simons has been in software sales for 10 years.

Chris Els has resigned as company secretary of Danakali. The company has appointed Melissa Chapman and Catherine Grant-Edwards as joint company secretaries.

Prosperity Resources has granted managing director and chair Mohammed Munshi four months leave of absence to attend to personal matters unrelated to the activities and his role in the company.

Egan Street Resources has promoted Lindsay Franker from founding chief operating officer to a newly created role of executive director, operations.

Gerry Kaczmarek has been appointed chief financial officer and company secretary of Troy Resources. Mr  Kaczmarek held the same positions at Troy from 1998 to 2008.

Dr Mark Elliott has been appointed non-executive director of Aruma Resources. Dr  Elliott is a chartered professional geologist with 40 years’ experience in the resources industry.

Urquhart promoted at Curtin

David St Denis has been appointed chief operating officer of Admedus. He succeeds Julian Chick, who has resigned from the company.

Dr Dirk van Hyning has been appointed chief executive of Alexium International Group.

Stephen Jones has been appointed chief financial officer of Kin Mining.

Kenneth Russell has resigned as non-executive chair of Swala Energy following the completion of the company's recapitalisation process.

Tony Huston has joined the board of BPH Energy following the resignation of Bruce Whan as non-executive director.

Anthony Rechichi has been appointed chief financial officer of Blackham Resources, replacing Jeff Dawkins who has resigned from the company.

Campbell Baird has resigned as non-executive director of Artemis Resources.

Gruden Group has announced several changes to it board and management. Warren Barry will step down as executive director but remains in an executive sales position.

James Minto has stepped down as non-executive director of Australian Finance Group. Mr  Minto joined the board from 2004 to 2013 and again from 2015.

Paringa Resources has appointed US-based banking and coal executive, Grant Quasha, as managing director and chief executive.  He replaces Todd Hannigan, who will become deputy chair.

CFOAM, manufacturer of inorganic carbon material, has appointed Todd Hoare as interim non-executive director.

Bruce Linton, current non-executive director of Auscann Group Holdings, has appointed David Pryce as his alternate director.

Change of guard at ATCO

Danakali has appointed Stuart Tarrant as chief financial officer, replacing Chris Els who has resigned from the position. Mr  Tarrant was formerly head of finance at Danakali.

Dan Smith and Nicholas Ong have resigned as non-executive directors of Global Gold Holdings. Campbell McLeod has been appointed non-executive director.

Michael Fry has resigned as non-executive director of Cougar Metals, but will continue as company secretary and chief financial officer.
