International group Accor has been chosen to operate Perth Airport’s first hotel on its estate, estimated to open in 2027.
Perth Airport today announced it has partnered with Accor over its first hotel, to be operated under the Pullman Hotels & Resorts brand.
The proposed hotel comprises 240 rooms and suites across eight floors, a rooftop restaurant, café and communal amenities including gym and sauna.
Perth Airport chief property officer Dan Sweet said this was part of the $5 billion capital investment program to deliver a new terminal and ground transport infrastructure.
“The new Pullman Perth Airport hotel will be a world-class facility located at the front door to our major terminal,” he said.
“It will make it even more convenient for international and interstate visitors, providing a place to stay and relax during connections.”
Accor Pacific premium, midscale and economy division chief operating officer Adrian Williams said the expansion of the company’s airport hotel network showed the evolution of airport precincts.
“Given the hotel’s unrivalled location and exceptional facilities, we anticipate strong interest and demand for Pullman Perth Airport from both business and leisure travellers alike,” he said.
“Accor is the leading and largest operator of airport hotels in the Pacific region with 22 airport hotels and we are delighted to be adding Pullman Perth Airport to this collection.”
The proposed Pullman Perth Airport was designed by DKO Architecture.
