Tony Pignata's successor has been named just one week after he resigned as Perth Glory's chief executive.
Mr Pignata will be replaced by Anthony Radich, who was a commerical and general manager at the Glory between 2011 and 2014 before taking on the job of chief operations officer with the A-League club in 2015.
He resigned to become commercial general manager of the Perth Wildcats in 2017.
In a lengthy statement published to the club's website, Mr Radich said he was excited and humbled to lead the club while thanking Mr Pignata for his service throughout recent challenges.
He also alluded to the Glory's poor performance last season, in which it finished bottom of the league for the first time.
“I am certainly not ignorant of the enormity of the task and challenges that lie ahead of us all at the club," he said.
“We need to rebuild its very foundations both on and off-field.
“That is the harsh reality of the situation we face, but it also presents a wonderful opportunity.
“It’s always darkest before the dawn and administratively we are faced with almost a start-from-scratch proposition.
“However, with the owner’s support and commercial traction, we will be able to add more highly competent, professional and passionate personnel to those already at the club and build a high-performing team and culture.
“That is very much my focus."
