The real estate group has appointed a new managing director and established a new business unit.

Cushman & Wakefield has announced a restructure of its Western Australian business, with the establishment of a new business unit and the appointment of a new managing director.
Roly Egerton-Warburton will step into role of managing director at the company, after three years of working as the company’s national director and head of office leasing in WA.
Mr Egerton-Warburton has more than two decades’ experience in the real estate sector, and also worked at Sheffield Property, before it was rebranded to Cushman & Wakefield in 2022, for more than eight years.
The real estate company has also launched a new business unit, dubbed the major projects office, which Cushman & Wakefield directors Digby Sutherland and Mark Clapham will lead.
Mr Sutherland and Mr Clapham will transition from their current roles as joint managing directors into the new business unit, which was set up to capitalise on growth in the office market.
“The Perth office market is entering an exciting phase, and with strong tenant demand for prime-grade office spaces, we see significant opportunities for new developments and asset repositioning,” the duo said in a statement.
“Our focus in the major projects office will be to help clients navigate this evolving landscape.”
This new business unit is designed to support clients in the planning, development, and pre-leasing of new office towers while also focusing on repositioning significant existing assets.
Initially focusing on projects in Perth, Cushman & Wakefield’s major projects Office will operate nationally, working with institutional landlords, developers, and tenants across Australia’s major office markets.
Cushman & Wakefield Australia and New Zealand chief executive Noral Wild described Mr Sutherland and Mr Clapham’s contributions as transformative.
“Their new roles in the Major Projects Office will allow them to further enhance Cushman & Wakefield’s capabilities on a national scale,” she said.
The duo has worked together for more than two decades and established Sheffield Property WA in 2013.
Mr Egerton-Warburton’s appointment represented his deep knowledge of the Perth commercial real estate sector, his strong transactional track record, and his extensive industry network, Ms Wild added.
“Roly’s expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving the next stage of growth for our Perth business,” she said.
“His ability to execute complex transactions and foster key client relationships makes him the ideal candidate to lead our WA operations.”
Mr Egerton-Warburton said he looked forward to accelerating the firm’s growth in WA.
“The strength of Cushman & Wakefield, combined with a rising market, presents significant opportunities,” he said.
