The two-storey building on Abernethy Road will be converted into a church.

An Indonesian church group has bought an office building in Belmont, with plans to convert it into a church.
GRII Perth, an acronym that can be translated to Reformed Evangelical Church of Indonesia, bought 138 Abernethy Road from Minter Pty Ltd for $3 million.
Australian Securities and Investments Commission records show Contemporary Design and Constructions director Steven Giancristofaro is a shareholder of Minter Pty Ltd, with Umberto and Charles Giancristofaro.
Ray White Commercial WA agents Chris Matthews, Brett Wilkins and Liam Pittaway brokered the deal.
“The property was sold vacant possession with the buyer intending to occupy the whole building, subject to a change of use. It is now permitted for church purposes,” Mr Matthews said.
“We received a mix of enquiries throughout the campaign with interest mainly coming from owner occupiers and some investors.
“Interestingly, this is an asset that has been on the market a few times in the past and did not reach the price we achieved.”
GRII Perth is currently operating out of Blue Gum Community Centre in Brentwood and hopes to move into the Belmont building this December.
