Board Moves September 19, 2019

Pierre Fallourd has resigned as chief executive and managing director of Atlas Pearls. He has been with the company since 2013. Geoff Newman, having been with the board since 2010, will transition from the role of a non-executive chair to an executive chair.

Gino D'Anna has been appointed non-executive director of Blina Minerals. Mr D’Anna has significant primary and secondary capital markets experience and extensive experience in resource exploration, public company operations, administration and financial management. Brett Fraser has resigned as non-executive director, having served on the board since 2008 as chair before stepping down in April 2019 to become a non-executive director.

Frederick Hess has been appointed non-executive chair of Ironbark Zinc, following the resignation of Peter Bennetto. Dr  Hess has extensive experience in delivering and operating large scale international mining projects.

Rick Crabb has advised of his intention to retire as non-executive chair of Paladin Energy at the end of the year. Mr  Crabb has served on the board since 1994 and as chair since 2003. As part of the transition, current non-executive director David Riekie will become deputy chair until a replacement chair has been appointed.

Angus Middleton and Stephen Jones have been appointed non-executive directors of Torian Resources. Mr  Middleton is a fund manager and former stockbroker with extensive experience in the capital markets sector, particularly in the resource sector. Mr  Jones is a mining engineer with over 30 years of experience in all facets of mining operations, both underground and open cut mines. Mark Borman will step down from the board but remains as chief executive.
