Leading national recruiter Ambit Recruitment, has significantly strengthened its fast-growing Perth office with the acquisition of the well-known and respected Resources 6 Pty Ltd, announced today.
The acquisition cements Ambit's position as Australia's largest privately-owned IT&T recruitment provider, and makes Ambit a dominant recruitment company in Western Australia.
Established in 1987, Resources 6 is the recruitment arm of Alphawest.
Specialising in recruitment and contracting for Engineering and Information Technology personnel, Resources 6 has an impressive Preferred Supplier list including Alphawest, The WA Government and the Water Corporation.
The sale will add $1 million per annum in revenue to Ambit and represents a strategic acquisition in fast-growing Perth, a market that Ambit believes will be a key driver of growth over the next 10 years in both Engineering and Information Technology recruitment.
Peter Acheson, CEO of Ambit Recruitment commented "our acquisition of Resources 6 will further strengthen our position in the Perth marketplace and grow our revenue towards our long-term growth targets".
"The acquisition will also enable a range of benefits to be realised by existing Resources 6 clients and contractors through increased access to a larger recruitment infrastructure, leading edge technology and innovative human management products available through Ambit Recruitment" said Mr Acheson.
