Yan Zhao has over 17 years of management and engineering experience in coal exploration and mining industry business development within Australia and China, as well as extensive network contacts.

Mr Zhao has been the resources manager of Rey Resources prior to being appointed executive director in November 2022. Prior to Rey Resources, he was the resources director and vice president of ASF Group from 2017 to 2022, and had worked in a Chinese company (Australia branch) and held several essential positions.

Mr Zhao holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automatization from Agricultural University of Hebei. He also holds a Senior Engineer certificate in China.
