WA Branch Secretary, Maritime Division / Construction Forestry and Maritime Employees Union

Will Tracey is the WA branch secretary of the maritime division of the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (CFMMEU). He took the role on 25 January 2021, succeeding Christy Cain. Mr Tracey was previously national deputy secretary of Maritime Union of Australia.

Will commenced his employment with the MUA in 2007 as WA Branch Organiser, followed by Assistant Branch Secretary before moving onto the position of Deputy National Secretary for 6 years from 2015.

Will has coordinated major campaigns that have resulted in pay rises and improvements in conditions for maritime workers and he aims to empower rank-and-file members in the union to participate more in its affairs.
