Todd River Resources has kicked off an auger geochemical sampling program over a large section of the eastern trend of mafic and ultramafic rocks it considers prospective for intrusive-style nickel-copper-PGE mineralisation at its Berkshire Valley project in WA. Todd River Resources has outlined a three-kilometre-long nickel-copper target at its Berkshire Valley project, 150 kilometres north-east of Perth in Western Australia. Recent shallow aircore drilling, designed to test for mineralisation below the soil and alluvium that blankets the region, has consistently returned highly anomalous base metal values kicking as high as 4,800 parts per million copper and 4,000 ppm nickel.

Recent auger sampling over the seven kilometre long Eastern Trend has delineated two priority targets, with the anomalies returning values up to 9,300 ppm nickel, 900 ppm and 105.2 ppb platinum and palladium.

Todd River Resources has divested 100 per cent of the Manbarrum zinc-lead-silver in the Northern Territory to Boab Metals. Under the agreement Todd River will be issued with A$500,000 of Boab shares and retains a 1.25 per cent net smelter return royalty. Todd River Resources has re-commenced RC drilling at its Berkshire Valley nickel, copper and platinum group elements project following the recent Christmas break to chase up some sulphide occurrences and previously identified geochemical nickel-copper-PGE anomalies. Additionally, a moving loop electromagnetic survey is set to commence next week targeting conductors at depth in a newly identified area in the far north of the Berkshire Valley project.
