IP battleground for law firms
Law firm Freehills is looking to expand its intellectual property and technology practice in Perth after recruiting Minter Ellison special counsel David Stewart and his two support staff.
Tony Joyner has been with Herbert Smith Freehills Perth office since 1986, and was managing partner for a decade where he led the Western Australia corporate technology and intellectual property group, and is a senior member of the projects team in Perth.
He has substantial experience in corporate and commercial issues including commercial transactions, corporate contracts, management and governance, and major projects.
Mr Joyner offers particular expertise in corporate and commercial law as it relates to technology and intellectual property matters. He has acted for major enterprises in industries such as banking, energy and resources, healthcare and technology.
