OUTSOURCING by the booming mining industry has been good news for fast-growing Hazelmere company Action Mining Services, which opened new and expanded premises this month.
Two years ago, Viento Group was a battling property investment company treading water. Then along came former VDM Group managing director John Farrell and former NRW Holdings director John Silverthorne.
Contractor Viento Group plans to broaden its range of services with the purchase of Hazelmere-based switchroom manufacturer HVLV in a prospective deal worth up to $21 million.
Mining services contractor Viento Group has forecast a trading loss in the current half year after disclosing that recently acquired subsidiary HVLV has run into problems on one of its contracts.
