A little bit of courage and a good chat
Business News talks to two Western Australians about why they decided to dedicate their spare time to founding a charity and how they made it happen.
Steve Pyle has been a Chartered Accountant since 2001 and spent over 17 years working for accounting firms in Australia and the UK, including 9 years at KPMG where he focused on insolvency and forensic accounting.
Mr Pyle joined Woodside Petroleum in July 2015 as a business integrity advisor before becoming manager of business integrity in October 2019. He is responsible for anti-fraud & corruption compliance and internal investigations.
Previous board experiences includes the advisory council of St Brigids College, treasurer of the Home-Based Learning Network of WA, and treasurer of not-for-profit organisation Community Courage.
Mr Pyle holds tertiary qualifications in Commerce and Arts.
