
Stephanie Majteles has over 18 years of experience in the projects and resources industries, including at a top tier law firm and in-house at a large global resources company. She has been providing advice on project development and operations, mining and resources law, project acquisitions and divestments, tenure and land access, project finance, commercial contracts and corporate governance.
Ms Majteles has been the general counsel of BCI Minerals since January 2019, joint company secretary since June 2021 and as sole company secretary since July 2023. Prior to BCI, she held senior roles at Rio Tinto where she provided strategic development and approvals advice on an integrated network of 16 iron ore mines, four port terminals and a 1700km rail network and related infrastructure.
Ms Majteles has a Bachelor of Law with Honours and holds various qualifications in Negotiation, Project Management and Migration Law. She is a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
