Sandra Brewer was elected as the Member for Cottesloe in March, 2025, and picked as the state's shadow treasurer in the Liberal Party WA-led Opposition.
Prior to her entry into parliament, Ms Brewer was the Western Australia executive director of the Property Council of Australia from August 2018 to February 2024. She has previously worked as general manager of marketing for National Lifestyle Villages, and founder of brand consultancy Perceptive Marketing where she worked on brand strategies and campaigns for a wide range of clients including residential land developers, apartment project owners and construction companies.
Ms Brewer has long been politically active including holding positions on the Liberal Party State Executive, the North Metropolitan Upper House ticket, and nominated for pre-selection in Cottesloe upon the retirement of Colin Barnett in 2018.
