
Romina was appointed in October 2024 as State Secretary, Australian Nursing Federation (ANF) and Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) Western Australia. Romina Raschilla has a background of corporate, clinical, and leadership experience.
Romina began her professional career in banking and accounting before transitioning into healthcare. Romina has a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) along with multiple postgraduate qualifications, ultimately completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialisation in Human Resource Management.
Romina’s career has spanned roles across both public and private hospital systems, as well as an Aged Care Manager of a residential aged care facility supporting over 100 staff and residents. Romina played a key role in the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) surge project, coordinating over 1,000 nurse and midwife deployments to regional and remote healthcare settings and communities.
Combining frontline nursing and business experience in her role as State Secretary, Romina also continues to work part-time as a Registered Nurse on weekends, maintaining close ties with the clinical workforce.
