
Peter Canterbury is an experienced mining executive and Certified Practicing Accountant with a broad skillset spanning financial and corporate management, accounting, project financing, feasibility studies, contract
negotiation and mining operations; and significant knowledge of the bulk commodity industry, particularly in bauxite and alumina.
Mr Canterbury has held senior roles within the mining industry for close to 20 years, including as chief executive and chief financial officer of several ASX-listed companies. His previous roles included being managing director of Triton Minerals, chief executive and executive director of Bauxite Resources, chief financial officer and acting chief executive of Sundance Resources where he was responsible for the management of its African operations, the negotiations of the Mbalam Mining Convention which was signed in November 2012, and led the company following the company's tragic accident in June 2010.
Earlier in his career he held several senior positions with Alcoa World Alumina in the finance, marketing and projects area in Australia and overseas.
Mr Canterbury has a Bachelor of Business (Chisholm Institute/Monash University). He is as CPA with CPA Australia.
