Peter Burns joined Accenture in 2021 as client group lead for Financial Services in Australia and New Zealand, before being elevated to chief executive of Accenture Australia and New Zealand in November of 2021.

Mr Burns started his career at strategy consulting company Booz & Company in 1992 and served as a senior partner for 23 years, before the company was acquired by PwC and renamed Strategy&

He has worked with business leaders throughout Australia, Asia Pacific, the United Kingdom and the United States on corporate strategy, customer-led growth and business transformation and has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
