
Penny Fielding has worked in various areas of health for more than 20 years.
Following several positions across public health and primary health care in Central Australia, Ms Fielding moved to Darwin in 2007 to lead NT Aged and Disability Services where she also led the implementation of the Disability Services Review. In January 2011, Ms Fielding became executive director of strategy and reform, leading the Department of Health’s reform agenda (including the NT response to the National Health Reform) through a number of COAG lead national committees. She played a key role in the development of system performance, health planning and policy and service development including the implementation of the Alcohol Mandatory Treatment service system and infrastructure. Ms Fielding also led the Palmerston Regional Hospital development and other major projects in Gove and Alice Springs. She returned to Western Australia in 2016 and commenced as the executive director of business and performance at the North Metropolitan Health Service from August 2017 to March 2020 before becoming the director of social and community impact & executive director of people and culture at Hall & Prior.
Ms Fielding holds a Masters in Primary Health Care and Executive Masters of Public Administration, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
