Paul White spent 20 years in the Queensland Police Service and was awarded state and national service medals.

Mr White spent five years in senior positions with Anglo American Metallurgical Coal, and a number of years prior to that with Xstrata Zinc.

Mr White captained rugby league teams in north and central Queensland, and was a premiership player and coach in Emerald, Moranbah, Mt Isa and Rockhampton. He became chief executive of the Brisbane Broncos in January 2011.
