Paul Lakey is an experienced professional having worked in the property development, infrastructure, and construction sectors for over 30 years.
Mr Lakey has been involved in the design, delivery and financial performance of a diverse range of projects from master planned communities to mixed-use, housing, residential apartment and hotel projects throughout Australia, UK, Europe and the Middle East.
He currently serves as executive director of Tempo Advisory (formerly Lakey Management), a boutique management consultancy that provides strategic advisory and management services to the not-for-profit, government, housing, property development and construction sectors.
Mr Lakey was appointed a Commissioner with the Western Australian Planning Commission and a non-executive director of Bethanie Group and JDSI Consulting in 2024. Mr Lakey has chaired the board of Foundation Housing since 2023.
Mr Lakey has experience on the boards of several government entities in Western Australia including Development WA, Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority, Landcorp; and was president of the Urban Development Institute of Australia WA. He is a founder & non-executive director of media production company Legend Media Group.
Mr Lakey holds an honours degree in Civil Engineering, is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Project Management, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
