Patrick Seares has extensive environmental expertise and engagement experience.
In February 2021, he was appointed managing director to lead the cross-government Westport team which works with the Department of Transport in planning the future port at Kwinana’s Outer Harbour, supporting road/rail network, the transition from Fremantle Inner Harbour, and supporting key government priorities such as the Western Trade Coast’s Global Manufacturing Hub and future growth of Kwinana.
Prior to that, Mr Seares was with the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation and Office of the Environmental Protection Authority, and has led significant business improvement projects including advising on strategic governance, operational change and reform, stakeholder engagement and marine research.
