Chris Evans has been appointed chief operating officer, a newly created position, at Altura Mining. He has been Altura’s general manager of operations since July 2015.
Max Nind
Principal Geologist, Exploration Geology / ERM
Max Nind is an experienced exploration geologist, having held several senior exploration positions within ASX-listed companies and major private companies.
Mr Nind was geologist in-charge and senior exploration geologist at Western Mining Corporation, exploration manager at Nevada Iron & Sinosteel Australia, and head of research at one of Perth’s oldest stockbroking firms which specialises in analysis of resource companies.
Throughout his 30-year career, Mr Nind has undertaken extensive surface and underground exploration for magmatic copper-nickel sulphides.
