Mark Irwin
Mayor / City of Stirling
Mark Irwin was born and raised in Scarborough, attending local primary and high schools. He has a degree in Sports Science and a Diploma in Management.
Mayor Irwin is passionate about community service and has been an active member of Scarborough Surf Life Saving Club since he was 9, having held many positions at the club including president for 5 years and president/chair of Surf Life Saving WA for 6 years while also holding board positions at a national level.
Among other community-based roles, Mayor Irwin also held board positions on the Small Business Development Corporation, Stirling Business Association and Doubleview Primary School. Through these roles, he has forged successful relationships with local, state and national bodies.
