Maria Atkinson

Ms Atkinson is an sustainability strategist. She has experience in relevant roles, including the Eastern District Commissioner for the Greater Sydney Commission leading strategic planning for the city, Global Head of Sustainability and Executive for Lendlease, Advisor to the UN Environment Programme, and in the not-forprofit sector as Co-Founder of the Green Building Council of Australia. Maria currently holds a number of Non-Executive Director and advisor positions including at the LafargeHolcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction (Switzerland) and is a member of the NSW Government Climate Change Council. In 2012, Maria was awarded the Order of Australia for service to environmental sustainability in construction and real estate.
