Contractor poaches top Leighton exec
The head of Leighton Contractors’ west division has been poached by Brisbane-based construction company Seymour Whyte as its new chief executive.
Mac Drysdale is part of a long time grazing family from the Augathella area of Western Queensland where he operates an organic grazing operation. He has more than 30 years of combined experience as a professional director and chairman. Mr Drysdale has extensive knowledge in the areas of corporate governance, organisational change and establishing and 'growing' companies. He also has eight years of experience as chair of membership organisations. Since 1991, Mr Drysdale served on the boards of Country Road Australia (chair), International Wool Secretariat (chair), Country Road USA, Mitre 10, Australian Wool Research and Promotion Organisation (chair), Wool International and Australian Wool Corporation (chair).
